We all know these Words. But of course everyone has a different actual experience of these Words of God.
You get the Babies of God in the various groups of strife. Living in carnality in strife.
1 Cor. 3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,even as unto babes in Christ.2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
The Babies of God in the various groups of strife have each their own interpretation of these very important Words of God. They mostly believe that they will one day be with God or God's in heaven. But for now they are just in "carnality". Living like all the other unbelievers too. With no actual benefit for this life.
In fact their lives are actually more strenous than normal "unbelieving life". In that they have a life of "slavery" in their groups. Where they have to honor their slave master. Work for him in defending his opinions and making more followers and then pay him too to be his slaves.
2 Cor. 11
20 For ye bear with a man, if he bringeth you into bondage, if he devoureth you, if he taketh you captive , if he exalteth himself, if he smiteth you on the face.
They have diluted the Word of God and are paying the price.
Rev. 22 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
God has saved us Perfectly. From human "dead Adam" life in intellectualism. Which is cold and has in itself no joy and love and happiness.
Thus the Babies of God has just the same life as the "unbelievers". They mostly find their meager joy also in their human existence of eating nice food and wearing nice clothes and buying nice possessions and having nice jobs and titles and money etc. They don't have the actual "treasures of heaven".
Mat. 6 19 ¶Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
And thus we find the Babies of God enjoying human live with the "unbelievers".
And they are no Light or Salt.
Mat. 5
13 ¶Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Thus they are just a disgrace. And "trodden salt".
